Alex & Her Horses

Last week while I was in California I had the opportunity to photograph Alex & her horses – Nikita, Quijote & Koyla.  Alex is Cathryn’s daughter and they board their horses at the same facility.  Can I say it again – I just love that facility, it is so beautiful & peaceful!  The light was really beautiful that evening.  We didn’t finish the session since we ran out of good light, but when I return to California in the beginning of June we will get the rest of the shots needed.  Look for more pictures of Alex then.  

Alex is a trainer and part of the reason for the photo session was to get some images for her soon to be designed website.  She rides and also does a lot of fun ground games with the horses – check out that ball, I plan on getting one for my horse.  I think he will love it! Apparently some of the horses jump on it & others run around kicking it – it must be a blast to watch them play like that!
