Lately I have been getting quite a few inquires about what type of lenses and equipment I use for equine photography.
What’s in my bag?
Nikon D700 (my main camera body)
Nikon D200 (backup camera body)
Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 VR lens
Nikon 50mm f1.4 lens
SB800 flash
Lots of memory cards ranging from 2-8 GB
4 batteries
My camera manual – you never know when you need it.
That’s it! I like to keep it simple.
If you are interested in learning more about Equine Photography check out Equine Photographer’s Network where I am a Professional Member – they have a great forum and online classes. I might put on a workshop if I have enough interest in one – let me know by putting a comment below or sending an email if you are interested.
Hi Tracey: I’ve been watching your work for a few months. I’m a budding horse photographer and would love to take a class with you. I’m planning on taking the basic horse class from Equine Photographer’s Network in June.
I live in Boise and I’m a professional writer/editor with hopes of becoming a professional horse photographer.
Please let me know if you hold a class or even a lecture.
Thanks! Nancy Bateman nancyibateman@msn.com
