As promised in the last blog posting I am going to give you a little bite into what I am doing. This past weekend I went to Sonoma California to attend my first of 4 training workshops to become a Equine Experimental Learning (EEL) facilitator. Essentially that means I will be able to put on personal growth workshops that utilize horses as teachers. Some of the concepts covered are boundaries – yours & others, increased awareness of body language, identifying and accessing the messages behind your emotions, plus many more. I attended one of these workshops last fall and was really amazed by the change that took place in my life. Hence I am training to be able to pass down this wonderful experience to others.
I am just starting to think of a loose business model for this like coming up with a name, developing my own set of workshops, where they will take place, etc. Look for more bits of information as I progress in my training.
Here are a few pics from the weekend. I wish I would have had more time to drive around and take more photos – it was so spring like there with the hills green & beautiful vineyards full of mustard growing in between the vines. The weather was a bit raining & cloudy but it was very much welcomed after the last couple of inversions we have had. Enjoy!
