Sunny Day

Yesterday I went out to visit Denali.  I haven’t been out there in a while due to my schedule & the weather.  It was a beautiful day with the sun shining down on us.  After this last inversion I am so grateful to see the sun!  Here are a few shots I took of Denali in is pen – I should have taken his blanket off but it was an afterthought.

I tried some new angles & used the wide angle lens a bit instead of the zoom.  For those of you that don’t know when you are shooting horses and even pets & people you want to get back from the subject and zoom in so you don’t distort them.  I mostly shoot with a 70-200mm lens which allows me to get far enough away as to not distort my subject.  Yesterday I was a little bored & thought I would play with more wide angle, it is always fun to mix it up and perhaps come up with a new look that is different and appealing.
